the Language of Creative Spirit

a weekend course with Paul van Dijk

two opportunities for you to take the course:
December 7 – 9, 2012 and February 15 – 17, 2013

The caterpillar turns into the butterfly. The seed develops into the flowering plant.
That’s radical transformation, metamorphosis.
Life is movement, development. That requires continuous transformation through
different stages, and renewing oneself at every stage.

This weekend course will begin with an interactive lecture on the breathtaking capacity of
plants to transform continuously towards self-realization in physical form and colour.
We also will look at incredible examples of metamorphosis in animal skeletons and skulls.
We let nature teach us to develop living thinking and artistic perception.

The emphasis in this course is on a clay modelling project.
Each participant will be enabled to create a free series of forms in which metamorphosis
becomes visible. This will be accompanied by some study of form and movement.
Creating your own free series of metamorphosis challenges you to find a subtle and
dynamic balance between the logical mind and creative intuition.
And it brings your understanding of the creative spirit active in nature and in human life to
a deeper, more personal level.

Practical information

The work of the Healing Water Foundation is built on Goethean scientific research. John Wilkes, the founder
of the institute, was an inspiring teacher in this realm. The Healing Water Foundation wants to pass on his
inspiring understanding of nature.
Paul van Dijk, a student of John Wilkes, is a sculptor and performance artist and designs Flowform® technology
for projects in Holland. As a teacher in Goethean Science his favourite subjects are study of form and
movement, plant development and metamorphosis.
